Happy Birthday Jensen!!
One half of the hottest brother duo on TV, Jensen Ackles reaches the ripe ‘old’ age of 33, Tuesday, March 1st. Born Jensen Ross Ackles, his parents, actor Alan Ackles and Donna Shaffer, raised him in Richardson, Texas, together with his older brother, Joshua, and a younger sister, Mackenzie.
He started acting in 1997, on the NBC soap opera "Days of Our Lives" (1965) as character Eric Brady for which he won a 1998 Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Male Newcomer.

After leaving the soap, Ackles went to Vancouver, joining the cast of the "Dark Angel". The character he played, Ben/X5-494 died in the first season, but Ackles returned to the show the second season as Ben's clone, Alec/X5-494 and stayed until the show's demise in 2002. Seems ironic he now plays our beloved Dean Winchester, a character who has died over a hundred times on SPN.
After several guest appearances as C.J. on the WB Network’s "Dawson's Creek", he returned to Vancouver and became a regular on "Smallville". In 2005, he joined the series "Supernatural" in the role of Dean Winchester.
In fall of 2010, he made his directorial debut in SPN episode 6.04, “Weekend at Bobby’s” receiving rave reviews and high praise from fans, the cast and crew of SPN, and critics alike. If SPN returns for a 7th season, he has already acknowledged plans to direct another episode.
His film credits include “My Blood Valentine” (2009), where he played the role of Tom Hanniger, a cold blooded killer who lived to kill another day; and “Ten Inch Hero” (2007), where he played Priestly, “the pretty ugly guy who the girl of his dreams finally recognizes in the end…..”
“My Bloody Valentine’ definitely showcased his talents as a dramatic actor.

And “Ten Inch Hero”, co-starring with his now real-life bride Danneel Harris, highlighted his comic talent. This film not only let Ackles show off his humorous side but some really colorful Mohawks too. He even wears a KILT!

This comic side continues to entertain all Supernatural fans. Who could forget these classic Dean Winchester faces?

And he can be just a funny and off camera as well….

…also really knows how to pick a Halloween costume. Don’t think so? Check out the EYEEEEEEES!

No clowning around on his wedding though, just a very happy Jensen. He married Danneel Harris on May 15, 2010 in Jensen’s hometown of Dallas Texas.

From an ardent Jensen Ackles fan, a very happy b-day to the ‘old’ guy. Wishing you many years of acting success, many years of happiness with Danneel, many little Ackles running around, and as many years of Dean Winchester as you want!

I hope Jensen will enjoy doing whatever he chooses to do, be happy and content in his professional and private life - and I hope for us, his fans, that we will allowed to enjoy more tv shows and films from this talented, astute, charming, thoughtful man.

Best regards from Dortmund, Germany
And a very happy birthday to Jensen, as well.
Thanks sablegreen for sharing some great pics!
Sablegreen - nicely done.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MR. JENSEN! May the whole of 2011 be good to you and your loved ones (esp. Danneel).
It could be done---one fan, Lyra-wing, wrote a fiction where Dean and Sam were hired by the FBI to head a new division, Supernatural Criminal Investigative Division (see "Paradigm Shift" --http://lyra-wing.livejournal.com/85469.html)
Wouldn't it be nice to see Dean and Sam with families and a new batch of Wee!chesters running around?
Being a social smoker isn't that good for his voice and lungs, either.
“I wish you happiness and joy in life
And many more birthdays to bring you delight.”
