I love making announcements like this, especially when I get to welcome someone to the site whose writing first inspired me to write something about Supernatural. Look how that turned out!
Bardicvoice has graciously accepted my invitation to bring her reviews and Supernatural University segments to the Winchester Family Business! She has been writing about Supernatural since the beginning of season two and has previously maintained blogs on the TV Guide website, Supernatural.TV and her own Livejournal site, one that we have often referred to in our articles and recommended links. Her gift for analysis is one of the best in any fandom right now and I'm thrilled she's bringing her talents to The Winchester Family Business.
To see Bardicvoice's new profile page, go here. Better yet, post a comment welcoming her to the site. Then get your thinking caps on, for her articles to come are really going to challenge you to think. That's exactly the way we like things!

When I first found this show back at Mystery Spot and was searching for all things Supernatural, I found your reviews on SupernaturalTV. I sat and enjoyed each and every one of them...and I still do. I took every one of your 'University classes' which helped to pass time between episodes and helped me catch up.
I continuously am amazed at the depth of your reviews and appreciate the effort you put into them.
Welcome to TWFB, I'm going to enjoy finding your analyses here, saves me a click.
Great to have you on board.
Wow, how'd Alice pull this off? Nicely done whatever this "invitation" entailed. I keep picturing some kind of manuvering like what is doubtlessly done before the 1st round pick of the NFL. Or like the college coaches going after those star players.
All the cameras are on, the suspense builds, BardicVoice hesitates, then puts on TWFB cap! She's ours! *insert crowd cheering madly*
*TV announcer voices*
"Well John, I just didn't see that one coming."
"I agree Bob. But I think it was a good choice on Bardics part, especially with how well this site has been doing. But to snag such a fantastic writer is a surprise."
"That it is John. That it is. Alice's team already has some strong talent, but I'd make a bet that Bardicvoice won't be warming the bench any time soon!"
So glad you chose to accept the invite Bardicvoice! Looking forward to reading more of your stuff.
I wish it was that dramatic. I emailed, made an offer, and she was thrilled to say yes. I did have an ulterior motive though. Basically I have to cut back my writing schedule because this site has grown so large I need to devote more time to site admin and development. Who better to ask! Bardicvoice and her work is such a perfect fit for what we do here.
BTW Mary will send a reply of thanks. We had an issue tonight getting her account setup (it's that admin stuff I'm talking about). She's all set for tomorrow though!
My warmest welcome possible, love Jas
So a very, very warm welcome to this great site!! *HugsGalore*
Ps. I just had to add that I love the Impala Chronicles
I got into your reviews via links from this site and I’ve always loved them. They’re really insightful, and observant and balanced!
I didn’t realise you had so much other stuff written on other sites so I think I'll be spending a lot of nights catching up on old reviews (I love doing that. It's great seeing things through other peoples eyes. It’s going to take me months to get through everything on this site alone!)
Can’t wait to read you.
I really like your writing and I'm very happy you accepted Alice invitation to be a part of the site. It's going to be a pleasure to read your work around here
I have been a fan of your reviews and articles since the summer of 2007. I’m so thrilled that you have joined the WFB.
Think I got that right ... If I didn't, I definitely meant, "thank you!"
I'm glad to be here with you!
I've been a fan of your reviews for a few years now, they are just fantastic. I'm really thrilled to have you here.
Greetings from Croatia,
Lara
I, too, originally came across your reviews via supernatural.tv, but was really pleased to find links to your site from here too. Your articles are absolutely incredible and your eye for detail and love and respect for the show are second to none. Like Tim, I did not know about the other stuff you do, but I shall definitely be checking it out. Am looking forward to reading your articles very much :)
(loved Yvonne's take of the hiring coup! Kudos Alice)
And I, too, loved Yvonne's bit!
I've been reading your reviews and metas it seems like forever on your site, so am delighted you will be here at WFB too.
Your articles about my favourite show are fascinating and I read every word of them.
Your thoughts of the technical sides of the production are interesting also.
Glad you are here!
I was thrilled to see Alice´s news this morning that you were joining the great writers´team here.
I´ve read many of your reviews and thoroughly enjoyed them - and I was excited to have found, it seems, a kindred spirit, both in my love of the show and my enthusiasm for analyzing and digging into things.
So welcome again, and I´ll be looking forward to whatever you´ll decide to share with us!
Also, this site really rocks: just came off from another fan site(not supernatural) where it was full of people screaming and yelling at one another. Thank gods, the discussion here is really civil.
Btw, anyone knows any good interviews which wrote about how Jensen felt when he had to torture Alistair?
I don't immediately recall any interviews about Jensen's reaction to Dean torturing Alastair, but if I think of one, I'll letyou know!
Yeah, I wonder how he felt having to torture Alistair. *sighs* Must be boring though... especially when you've got a ton of people around you while filming and going like "you gonna cut his spleen or you gonna keep staring like he's got giant mushrooms growing out of his face?"
So, welcome!
So looking forward to your 1st review and once again welcome its nice to have you, regards Sharon
I hope you will will be really happy here, it is a very special little haven.
Looking forward to reading your articles Ju
