Season Five kicks off...September 10th.  This evening (8pm eastern), The CW announced their premiere dates.  Their fall season kicks off on September 8th in 90210 and Melrose Place, September 9th with a two hour premiere of America's Next Top Model, and September 10th with The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural.

Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill return on Sept 14th, although they've switched time slots.  That was something I predicted might happen in a few forum posts considering Gossip Girl gets killed by House in the ratings.  Smallville doesn't return until September 25th.

Wow earlier than I thought - I was convinced that it was going to be late sept. Yay a few less weeks until SPN. And I heard somewhere they start filming July 2nd!!! (I think that was an article listed on Winchesterbros.com for those who want to take a look - or don't trust my memory!)

ok so if today's 17th June that makes it 12 weeks by my calculations...... 12 weeks tomorrow. Bring. It. On!

Hooray!!! Happy dance (although I have no rhythm :ugeek:-)

I checked futoncritic yesterday but they had no news and while I was figuring the 17th was a safe bet I was looking to the 24th just in case they got quirky or mean! So the 10th is just awesome...and I figured that I've got at least eight to nine more weeks of articles in mind (at two per week) and that's without any new ideas that creep in...this will fly by!

Yeah!!!!!!

I was hoping that with Vamp Diaries pairing with SPN D.O. might actually premier them early like she did last season to get a jump start on everything else....only 12 weeks (and one day) only 12 weeks (and one day) it will fly!!!!1

8-)

I believe FOX is going to be starting their new shows early, too, to get the jump on CSI and GREY's. Which means that we will probably get a head-to-head battle between FRINGE and SUPERNATURAL.

That's the show that's worrying me the most. FRINGE was doing quite well for FOX, and I fear it's going to squash the precious few 3+ million viewers we have managed to scrounge up for SPN in that horrific time slot. It would kill me if SPN did so poorly they canceled it during the fifth season.

We're a sad lot, aren't we, wishing the summer away? Ha! Still, hasn't stopped me from setting my DVR to record the Sept 10th season premiere.
