Preview Clips - "The Song Remains The Same"

It's Friday!  It's clip time.  What excites me the most is that in one of these clips, there's a Castiel sighting!  Plus, Sam finally gets to do the time travel thing.  It's awesome.  There has been an episode title change.  Here's the synposis courtesy of The CW and Warner Brothers:

The episode, titled “The Song Remains the Same” (fka as “Back to the Future II”) will air on Thurs., 2/4 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

BACK TO THE ‘70s — When Anna (guest star Julie McNiven) escapes her captors in Heaven and tries to find Sam (Jared Padalecki) & Dean (Jensen Ackles), Castiel (Misha Collins) is suspicious of her motives.  He soon learns that she’s gone back in time in a “Terminator”-like plan to stop the Apocalypse by killing the young John & Mary Winchester before the boys are ever born, thus ending the possibility for them to be vessels for Lucifer and Michael.  Also guest stars Matt Cohen as ‘John Winchester,’ Amy Gumenick as ‘Mary Winchester’ and Matt Ward as ‘Uriel.’ Steve Boyum directed the episode written by Sera Gamble and Nancy Weiner.

Oh dear, this is going to get ugly... Okay, I'm shopping for tissues tomorrow. Sera Gamble on this horse?Does anyone think we're going to get spared?
I'm happy to see mom and pop winchester again, but I'm very ,very sure there will be an emotional impact that will haunt us for quite a while. Come on, ten episodes to go, and we're coming to the apocalypse gate, I guess...

Ay me, is it thursday (well, Friday) yet? I've just had a new episode, but I'm greedy. Sad Jas

Also, the summary sound an awful lot like Terminator - does that mean Mary will go all Sarah connor?

Interesting. Mary and John are now married and John doesn't know about Dean.

Glad Sam gets to go this time. Hope he isn't disappointed with his mother. This looks like a lot of sadness for next week. Sad

Actually, I like this name better. It's a Led Zeppelin song and one of my favorites. I absolutely love the Houses of The Holy album.

So when John was brought back in 1973, his memory was wiped? Did not Mr. Van Halen introduce him to the Impala? Weird.

Yes, Cas, you're almost a real boy. Betcha this episode smokes.

Houses IS a monster of an album, but please, Kripke, don't go Whedon and have a Dancing Days ep with everyone doing the tango and softshoe. Worked there, not sure if it would here. Shudder. Cool

I get my tissues in bulk at Costco. No worries there.

Yes. How come John doesn't know Dean? Have to wait and see. Looks like a good episode! Love young Mary and John! Neutral

I'm so happy. Sam gets to finally meet Mary. He looked like he finally is home. I hope this experience changes his mind about the whole normal life. I hope it makes him see that it is something he deserves and he isn't a monster because his family loves him and don't think of him that way. I hope Dean gets his closure.

As for Castiel, him turning more and more weak is a bore to me. I'm not cold-hearted but i seriously preferred the badass, don't mess with me mysterious Castiel who was also learning to understand humans without becoming them version of season 4. *sigh* But it is nice to see Sam warming up to him and he and Dean taking care of him. He is basically their super-powered pet. Now i love that image. Wink
