My apologies if you're hearing this for about the eightieth time, or have seen this video circulating everywhere, but it seems that there are some out there that are still getting duped. Plus, we have a large International base on this site, so I'm sure many out there haven't heard.
Recently Clif Klosterman, the bodyguard for Jared and Jensen (he played Tiny in "Folsom Prison Blues") has gotten on Twitter because of all the madness. He's been exposing and going after imposters posing as Jared and Jensen online. He's also been investigating online threats for Danneel Harris as well. The problem keeps getting worse. One of these accounts got over 10,000 followers. Clif also eluded to an incident where a fan was duped into meeting an imposter for lunch. This has gotten VERY VERY serious. As a result, Clif, through The Winchester Bros website, has had Jared and Jensen themselves come out and say something about this. Below is that video:
If anyone has any doubts, go to @bodyguardfor4JandJ on Twitter. Clif is listing these fake accounts. I will also share info here and there about certain imposters. For all the latest Supernatural info and article links, follow The Winchester Family Business on Twitter at @WinFamBusiness

It must really take away a lot of the pleasure they have in working.
Clarice - it makes me want to apologize to them too.
Thanks for posting this Alice.
I just can't believe that this stuff is happening - it's mad. I just don't understand why people would do this.
Clarice, Tigershire - if it helps i did apologise... i sent clif a message on twitter i just couldn't help myself.
I’ve had my share of dangerous stalkers as a therapist, though, personality disorder, anyone?, and when I was part of that biz there was unpleasantness, as I told you about on another occasion.
I’m at work, so I can’t watch the video here, but will check it out when I’m home, so what I have to say might not be fitting here, as I lack some information (perhaps given in that video).
Seriously?
I’m not surprised that some people might pose as celebrities to bolster their ridiculously low self esteem (probably sexually frustrated wannabes, okay, I’m really furious now). But that people actually take more steps and approach a young woman with threats because she happens to be engaged to – let’s say Jensen Ackles, is downright pathetic and absolutely out of the question. And, unfortunately, it is precarious. In my head alarm bells go off when I read something like that, and I hope that the lady is well-protected.
It’s just so absurd that measures like that should be necessary. This saddens me. Don’t they know what this can do to a relationship? A person’s feeling of safety? Have we come to a state of mind today that respect has become only a empty shell of a word?
Forgive me, I may be out of line, that just drives me angry, and I’m totally stressed out right now.
Gullible people might fall for those impostors and might get hurt, physically and/or emotionally. The celebrities in question are offended for the simple reason of being celebrities and ‘well-loved’ by their fans (hello?), and, eventually, fans responsible for this will also be responsible of driving them away. Goodbye conventions etc. How long, do you think, will they tolerate this indecency ?
Thank you, level-minded folks, for being different. There is hope after all. Thankyou, Jas
"Demons I get, people are crazy." that's what usually comes to my mind when I ear this kind of things.
No wonder Jensen (especially) Jared and Ms. Harris remain below radar as much as possible. It is scary to think that people who would stoop to the level of luring fools (yes, anyone who thinks they're going to an actual meeting with either Jared or Jensen is a fool) as well as sending threats might actually act more agressively given the opportunity. People like that tend to make the opportunity so Ms. Harris might be quite right to be alarmed and it is likely she has additional protection.
Sad to say it is likely to affect a relationship, living in fear is never healthy.
If I were J&J and Ms. Harris, I would seriously reconsider ever come out to any fan events in the future, why would I want to when there is a chance the lunatic threatening me or my loved one is in the crowd. Very sad.
I agree with the tag line, "Demons I get, people are crazy." I'm finding as I get older and see more and more, the less I like most people.
I'm with you there - I still want to believe that people are essentially good and decent, but I have also seen and experienced to much to not have a hard time keeping to that ideal. I'm not ready yet to surrender to cynicism, but who knows...?
Love Jas
Okay, I'm done with my angry rant. Personally, I'm thrilled that both guys have found love. And I hope their relationships are strong enough to get them through. I think they know there are a lot of folks like us who are rational sane fans. They wouldn't have made that video if they didn't believe that.
I certainly hope these maniacs are found and punished thoroughly. It makes me consider that Twitter is not a good thing happening at all. Too many crazies out there! Too bad this Twitter thing can be operated almost anonymously. There should be a way to identify a person's identity if using it. If only!
This is the only site I post at, and outside of Bardicvoice and Gaelicspirit I stay away from sites that cause my stomach to turn. There are so many good folks on this blog. Thanks to all of you for making a safe haven here.
