Illustrated Song - Bonanza
This is me being utterly, completely, thoroughly guilty of loving the last episode… And I simply wasn’t able to resist – I had to take the Bonanza theme song and add a few pics of our beloved guys… I trust you won’t take it amiss.
Enjoy this little Cowboy fun fest!
Bonanza

We chased lady luck, 'til we finally struck Bonanza.
With a gun and a rope and a hat full of hope, planted a family tree. We got hold of a pot of gold, Bonanza.

With a horse and a saddle, and a range full of cattle, how rich can a fellow be?

On this land we put our brand, Cartwright is the name, fortune smiled, the day we filed the Ponderosa claim.
Here in the West, we're livin' the best, Bonanza, if anyone fights any one of us, he's go a fight with me, Bonanza.

Hoss and Joe and Adam (or… Sam, Dean and Cas?) know every rock and pine, no one works, fights, or eats, like those boys of mine. Here we stand in the middle of a grand Bonanza.
With a gun and a rope and a hatful of hope, we planted our family tree, we got hold of a potful of gold, Bonanza.

With a houseful of friends where the rainbow ends, how rich can a fellow be?
On this land we put our brand, Cartwright is the name, fortune smiled, the day we filed the Ponderosa claim. Here in the west we're livin' the best Bonanza.

With the friendliest, fightingist, loving band, that ever set foot in the promised land, and we're happier than them all.
That's why we call it Bonanza...Bonanza...Bonanza...

Well, there are two versions of the famous Bonanza theme song. There was one filmed for the pilot episode, as far as I found out. But it was cancelled before the episode aired, luckily, otherwise the Cartwrights would have been a one-evening wonder!
The Ill-Fated Bonanza Lyrics for the Pilot
I've got a flair for women everywhere---Bonanza

I'm not afraid of any pretty maid--Bonanza! Bonanza!
But when I give a kiss to any little miss, she'll learn a lot from me
I'm not afraid of any pretty maid--Bonanza!
When I give a kiss to any little miss
She'll learn a lot from me

Hair of brown, hair of gold, I'll take what I see
We're not a one to saddle up and run--Bonanza! Bonanza!

Anyone of us who starts a little fuss

Knows he can count on me
One for four, four for all

This we guarantee
We got a right to pick a little fight--Bonanza! Bonanza!

If anyone fights any one of us
He's gotta fight with me!

Thanks, "Jazzie"!!
Glad to have brought these memories back, thanks, Jas
Here the tv shows used to arrive very late so I grow up seeing Bonanza at Saturday's mornings during the 80's and I loved it. Of course with the pics from our favorite characters this looks/sounds so much better!
Thanks for the memories Jas.
Perhaps we should vote for a revival of Bonanza with these guys? (Make that into a t-shirt
Love, Jas
I remember watching Bonanza too.
I just loved Little Joe, see the obsession did actually start long ago!
I knew there were lyrics, but had never heard them before. I just remembered it as `Dum da da dum da da dum da da dum da da da da`!
All through this one there were songs spinning round my head (I know you are amazed!)
Ahhh the memories
Thanks Love Ju
Who reminds you more of LIttle Joe? Sam or Dean? Unfortunately, neither has a black and white car...
Love, Jas
What memories those are! And now we have some awesome new memories to cherish from this episode of Supernatural!

It's those fun, happy memories that we need to cherish. And, yes, this episode is one of them, too!
