Getting Ready for Gishwhes with Supernatural’s Misha Collins
We’re a little over a month away from this year’s GISHWHES and Misha Collins is letting us all know what to expect this year.
Misha Collins [Dropped] Some Hints About Gishwhes 2016 to The Geekiary.
As luck would have it, there were technical difficulties during the first question (my question, naturally), so I am unable to quote Misha directly. However, I was eager to know if his celebrity friends such as Kim Rhodes or Ben Edlund would be pitching in item ideas for Gishwhes 2016 like they did last year. According to Misha, many of them had presented ideas for the mini-Gishwhes game on Tumblr, but the event was cut short out of respect for the recent incident in Orlando. This means they have quite a backlog of items which he implied they’ll use during this year’s hunt.
The Geekiary goes on to ask about items Misha is most impressed with from the Scavenger hunt. He also outlines what GISHWHES is like for a newbie.

With a little more than a month until the mayhem begins, Supernatural actor and GISHWHES host Misha Collins is staging the organization’s first registration telethon, in hopes of recruiting more participants than ever.

Misha is running a live stream of the GISHWHES call center June 18 starting at 9:00 AM PST. You can view it in here. Some people have reported problems with the live stream but the videos stay on Facebook and you can view them anytime. There’s hours of entertainment as several members of Supernatural’s cast join Misha at GISHWHES’ call center talking on the phone to registrants and giving scary haircuts to volunteers!
